This was a very special shoot--I've known Erik and his family for the better portion of a decade.  We initially started this shoot outside at Garden of the Gods, but the 22 degree weather became unbearable when a breeze picked up.  Fortunately, the Broadmoor Hotel was only a short drive and we finished the shoot in a very cozy warm room.
